1. General Description

1) Leading In-house & out-sourced tool and component development for new program

2) Ensuring all suppliers meet SL and Customer’s key milestones

3) Champion of Pre-production part build and delivery

4) Coordinate all engineering and launch related Issues

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities

1) Provide necessary tooling information and requirement for in-house & out-sourced tool to the supplier

2) Review in-house & out-sourced tool design and minimize potential design & quality issues

3) Lead DFM activities

4) Ensuring for all supplier to meet dimensional requirement on time and to set up a stable process to satisfy KPC or SCCAF

5) Conduct periodic meetings with all suppliers to monitor progress of tool development, timing and issues

6) Supporting internal and external engineering changes on new program

7) Responsible for ensuring that supplier quality problems of developing components are resolved in a timely and effective manner without reoccurrence.

8) Coordinate PPP MRD and similar pre-SOP requirements

9) Participate Customer & Internal PDT Meetings

10) Support Gate Reviews & internal/customer R@R

11) Supporting for sourcing of new component

12) Support for profitability improvement activities

3. Job Requirements

3-1. Work Experience

1) At least three years of experience as SQE/SQA or Development engineer in automotive manufacturing environment

2) Or 3+ years launch management.

3-2. Education

1) Bachelor’ s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field

2) Mechanical or Electrical/Electronical Engineering experience is a plus

3-3. Knowledge Skills and Abilities

1) Read and understand Drawings, EWOs, ECOs, & other customer change documentation

2) Working knowledge of key quality core tools(APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, etc.)

3) Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

4) Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

5) Must be able to work efficiently and effectively with all departments
