안녕하세요. 제 이름은 신지현 (Joy Shin) 입니다. 저는 내쉬빌과 인근 지역에서 주거용 부동산을 전문으로 활동하고 있는 공인중개사입니다. 2000년 UCLA에서 심리학 학사 학위를 취득했으며, 2006년 뉴멕시코주립대학교 (New Mexico State University) 에서 사회복지학 석사 (MSW) 학위를 받았습니다.

2011년 테네시로 이주한 후, 내쉬빌 메트로 소셜 서비스(Metropolitan Social Services) 산하 홈리스 서비스 부서(Homeless Services Division)에서 4년간 근무하며 도움이 필요한 이웃들을 섬기고 그들의 권익을 옹호하는 일을 감당했습니다. 2016년부터는 부동산 분야로 전향하여 첫 주택 구매, 렌트, 투자, 재구입에 이르기까지 약 200여 건의 거래를 진행해 왔습니다. 사회복지 전공과 현장 경험을 바탕으로, 한인 고객들을 비롯한 많은 분들이 ‘내 집이라 부를 수 있는 공간’을 찾을 수 있도록 돕는 공인중개인로서의 길을 가고 있습니다.

현재 내쉬빌에 위치한 벨몬트 대학교 (Belmont University) 에서 교수로 재직 중인 남편 신한길 (Stephen Shin), 대학에 재학 중인 딸과 고등학교 3학년인 아들, 그리고 반려견 땅콩 (Alfred) 과 살고 있습니다. 여가 시간에는 대학 농구 경기에서 치어리딩하는 딸과 고등학교 풋볼팀에서 와이드 리시버로 활약 중인 아들을 응원하는 시간을 가장 소중히 여기고 있습니다. 또한 내쉬빌 한인교회를 섬기며 지역사회 안에서 한인들의 위상을 높이는 일에도 함께하고 있습니다. 감사합니다.

Hello, my name is Joy Shin. I am a licensed real estate agent specializing in residential real estate throughout Nashville and the surrounding areas. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA in 2000 and my Master of Social Work (MSW) from New Mexico State University in 2006.

After relocating to Tennessee in 2011, I worked for four years with the Homeless Services Division of Metropolitan Social Services, where I served individuals and families in need and advocated for their rights. In 2016, I transitioned into real estate and have since completed approximately 200 transactions, including first-time home purchases, rentals, investment properties, and resale homes. Drawing from my background in social work and hands-on experience, I am committed to helping clients—especially within the Korean descent and Korean American community—find a place they can truly call home.

I live in Williamson County with my husband, Stephen Shin, a professor at Belmont University; our two children—a daughter who is a college cheerleader and a son who is a high school junior—and a dog named Alfred. In my free time, I enjoy watching my daughter cheer at Belmont basketball games and supporting my son as he plays wide receiver on his high school football team. I am also actively involved with the Nashville Korean United Methodist Church and am committed to enhancing the reputation of the Korean community throughout the region.
