We at LX Pantos America, Inc. are seeking a Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist to manage inland transportation and maritime import logistics. This role is responsible for overseeing contracted carriers, optimizing lead times, and resolving transportation issues, ensuring seamless delivery from port to final destination.
Work visa sponsorship available, eligibility for permanent residency sponsorship after 2-3 years of employment.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage inland transportation within the U.S. (Port to LGE TN section).
- Oversee contracted carriers and manage annual inland transportation bidding.
- Handle lead time management and issue troubleshooting for the maritime import section (including coordination with shipping origins).
- Process claims for damages occurring during transportation.
- Manage and report on weekly/monthly logistics cost reduction initiatives to LGE TN.
Qualifications
- Sea import and inland transportation operation experience - 5 to 10 years (Min more than 3 years)
- Microsoft Office skill level: High (Excel skills are very important)
- Logistics operation skills and management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred not required)
- Bilingual: Korean and English (required) As over 80% of import containers are shipped from there, proficiency in Korean is essential.
